At Thomas Haas Chocolates & Patisserie, we take great pride to ensure that on your very special day, the LAST course is the last thing you have to worry about! Thomas and his team of award-winning pastry chefs are on a mission to provide you with the best in wedding cakes and favours, desserts and confections.

Our Wedding Cakes:

Before your wedding day, we offer a consultation and tasting during which we can customize the cake of your dream or help you select a design from our own portfolio. At your request, exquisite handcrafted sugar or chocolate flowers will leave you with a stunning memory of your very special day. Your complete confidence is assured when it comes to both the beauty and taste of your “last course.”

Our price: For your budget planning, our wedding cakes start at $9.95 per serving (100 servings and over), $12.95 per serving (50 - 100 servings) and $14.95 per serving (less than 50 servings), minimum order 30 servings. This includes custom design and tiers, hand piping, ribbon and other fine delicate accents. Handcrafted sugar flowers or other elaborate sugar/chocolate designs are priced separately starting at $75. Fresh flower decorations are to be provided by your florist. A 45 minute wedding consultation and a tasting of five of our selection of cakes is $75. A follow-up confirmation of all details will be done via e-mail. If you would like to come in for a subsequent consultation, there will be an additional $45 (or $75 including a second dessert tasting). All wedding cake consultations take place at our North Vancouver location.

To provide you with the best service possible, we only accept a limited number of bookings per weekend. To secure your wedding date, we require a $200 deposit (non-refundable).

Showcake:

A “showcake” is non edible and for display/presentation only. The option of a showcake allows you to have your preferred weddingcake design displayed as a centerpiece without the worries of temperature, sunlight or location.

All showcakes have a cutting slice for the picture taking
covering of the show cake will match that of the display cake
the show cake allows the bride and groom to have the “best of both worlds”…the exact cake design that they want, as well as the freshest possible cake for dessert
allows for a very delicate cake to be served, as it can be held in the refrigerator, while the show cake can sit out for guests to admire all day/night
allows the bride and groom to choose one of our 4 customer favourite flavours, or one of our desserts from our shop

Wedding Favours:

Wedding favours of our beautifully handcrafted chocolates will ensure sweet memories of your very special day. You can choose your own selection from our chocolate menu or we can personalize your chocolates with your name or wedding date printed in edible form on our chocolates. You may wish to include our chocolates and truffles as a part of your dessert menu or buffet by ordering them in larger quantities.

Our price: Wedding favours start at $3.50 for a one piece gift box or $5.50 for a two piece gift box. Please visit our store in North Vancouver to take a look at our current selection of wedding favours.

If you wish to have your chocolates personalized with your name and/or wedding date placed in edible form on your chocolates, there will be a one time set-up fee for the artwork of $275 per colour per name or date or $375 for 2 colours. A lead time of one month or more is recommended.

To order in larger quantities, we require a minimum of 378 chocolates or truffles (6 trays - 63 pieces per tray). The cost of each chocolate is $1.25 (plus shipping). If shipping is not required, the minimum order does not apply.
